12 Days of Christmas 2018, Writing Pieces

Blog Log #6!

On today, the last day of 2018, and I feel like I have so much to be thankful for. This year has definitely had its ups and downs, but overall I think that I’ve been super lucky and happy with how its gone.

One huge thing that I’ve accomplished is that I’m nearly done my undergraduate degree. I only have 4 more months and then I’m literally finished. I’ll be graduating from McGill university, which is kinda wild to say. The time has really flown by, and I would not be where I am today without the love and support of my friends. I did really well this term in school and I could be a little happier but I’m very happy with how everything turned out.

I also have had a great year with my jobs! Not only am I lucky enough to be working with an excellent organization, but I kinda have my dream job. I’m working at a small store called in Montreal, and I’m basically a seamstress. I sew all the time and work with my hands all at time. It is really so fun and I love my boss, shes the sweetest and so understanding. If I stay in Montreal for the next few years I’m really hoping to stay at this job for a while!

Seeing as this is the last day of 2018, I figured I would go over some of my ‘resolutions’ or hopes for this year.

  1. Read 50 books
  2. Run 20 km
  3. Do a triathlon
  4. Finish Bloodborne
  5. Travel to BC
  6. Be a more consistent blogger
  7. Be more in love with myself

7 is a personal favourite number, so I figured that would be a good place to start. Some of these are book related, some are personal goals, and some are general ones that everyone sets. But I really want to try to be more consistent with my blog and reading and exercise. And while I sometimes believe in resolutions, I also think that you can start a change at any time!

I hope everyone’s 2018 was good. There have been a lot of ups and downs with mine, but overall I have been pretty happy, and I look forward to a great year of reading in 2019!

That’s all for now ducks, and happy 2019!
